Hello and welcome,
I created this organization to recognize the
excellent job the receptionists were doing
in my company at the time. That was in
1990. Since then have tried to make it a
recognition for the job of a receptionist
itself.
I believe it is one of the most important
jobs a company can have. A receptionists
is not only responsible for the first
impression but also for effective and
efficient routing of communication in the
company.
The job of receptionist can include many
titles and functions.
2010 is the 20th Anniversary of the
founding of the organization. I hope this
year to make it grow in membership and
exposure and to create an effective
community for receptionists everywhere.
