| May 14 and National Receptionists Week: May 14, 2008 will be our 18th year to celebrate National Receptionists Day on the second Wednesday of May. We created our organizatioin to recognize the valuable contribution receptionists play in business. They are the front line personnel and are responsible for making a positive first impression for the company. Please do not combine our recognition with that for Secretaries or Administrative Assistants unless they serve as the first contact and FRONT-LINE PERSONNEL for your company. |

| Looking for recognition ideas? Schedule a mock staff meeting and surprise your receptionists with a proclamation from "the boss" and recognition from the everyone in the company. The proclamation assigns May 14 as his or her official day of recognition. Flowers and refreshments are also encouraged.
